Mike Donoho is the guy who could write the book on Style and Elegance Meet Functionality for custom aircraft interiors. Mike’s rich background and broad experience in the aviation industry make him the perfect sounding board for Signature Plating product development plans and growth initiatives.
As former owner and CEO of ABI(Aircraft Belts, Inc.) for more than 25 years, Mike provides the organizational vision that has helped build Signature Plating into a first tier provider of top quality work. He knows from experience that this industry will accept nothing less than the best.

With more than 20 years of experience in human resources development, strategic planning and business management, Larry Donoho had been a regular consultant to ABI(Aircraft Belts, Inc.) prior to taking on the position of President for Signature Plating. Previously, he served with Bexar Electric Co., a San Antonio based IES company, where he provided training, development and recruiting efforts. Prior to that, he served as director of development for Qwest Communications in the area of executive leadership development.
Larry holds a bachelor’s in Organizational Communication from Southwest Texas State University as well as a Master’s in Administration from the University of Incarnate Word. He is also certified as a mediator in the State of Texas and boasts many national leadership-training certifications, including Dr. Stephen Covey’s The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People as well as Kepner and Trego’s Problem Solving and Decision Making Analysis.
An industry veteran with more than 20 years experience McKnight is considered one of the foremost experts of both aircraft restraint systems and aircraft interior decorative plating. Highly adept in formulating true win-win agreements through the brokering of major industry deals, Frank relies on his superior strategic planning and critical thinking skills to regularly exceed customers’ expectations.
As the former President of ABI (Aircraft Belts, Inc.), Frank excelled set the standard for superior customer service in the industry, one that we still measure ourselves by today. Downplaying his reputation as a customer service guru, Frank credits a simple philosophy for his success, “We provide 24/7 communication with our customers whether it be good, bad or indifferent information. Can’t do is not an option when a customer requests something.”
Mr. Sahanek career has been quite diverse including extensive experience as a Master Electrician and work in the law enforcement field. Sahanek was part of the original start-up of Signature Plating coming on board after having overseen the construction of the facility as a member of Bexar electric (IES). He then took a two year hiatus to pursue other opportunities before returning (April 2011) as General Manager before quickly being promoted to his current position as Vice President and Jr. Partner.
Coordinating production on a time and labor intense trade is an art. There is nothing Mr. Sahanek won’t take on or help out with. You have a production issue or question, Paul will likely know more about a solution than anyone in the industry.
Randy spent 10 years in law enforcement before entering the business sector. In the past 25 years, Randy has owned and operated several successful small businesses. Randy brings a wealth of sales and customer service experience to Signature Plating. You can rest assured that Randy will work tirelessly to earn your business and to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
Matthew provides a very diverse skill base in the decorative electro plating industry. This includes a throrough understanding of the production process, excellent customer relation skills and cultivates in his leadership position in Signature’s Quality department. Matthew’s ability to multi task is his greatest strength handling multiple projects, assignments and challenges simultaneously.
As Signature Plating’s front line customer service player, John relies on a career first built on human services. His critical thinking skills, sound judgment and focused leadership under pressure help him oversee all of your needs. Providing innovative solutions under daunting circumstances or time-sensitive situations are stock-in-trade for John.
With a degree from the University of Utah in Sociology and Business, John worked for several years as an officer with Child Protective Services. His ability to understand your needs and quickly put Signature Plating resources to work for your benefit is unmatched.
